One photo submitted to Farmers Weekly‘s Harvest 2023 photo gallery this week really hits the nail on the head when it comes to summarising the stop-start harvest that farmers have been contending with up and down the country.

Pictured at Bank Farm in Ramsey St Mary’s, Cambridgeshire, three generations of farmers stand waiting patiently for the rain to subside so they can get the combine out into the fields, and harvest can begin.
