Photo of the Week: Halloween Collie and sheep pumpkin
It’s that spooky time of year, and we couldn’t let Halloween pass without choosing our favourite pumpkin carving.
This fantastic Collie dog and sheep pumpkin was made by Charlotte Holroyd in Wetwang, East Yorkshire.

Charlotte has worked both on the dairy and sheep side in farming and hopes to one day have her own small holding with a flock of Suffolks.
She says: “I was inspired by Hannah Jackson [Red Shepherdess] as she has shown that you don’t have to be born into farming to get into it, and also my father who gave me the courage to follow my dreams”.
We think that is a wonderful sentiment.
Charlotte’s Halloween work is not over yet – her young son, Grayson, loves tractors, so a tractor pumpkin carving may be next.
Send your Halloween pumpkin photos in to our Farmlife Framed gallery, or any farming photo you like.
