Photo of the Week: Farming on pause for wedding

Isabelle and Rhodri’s wedding put a stop to the farming season, albeit temporarily, on 22 June at the groom’s family farm in Manorowen, Pembrokeshire.

Isabelle and Rhodri, both from Pembrokeshire, began their relationship in 2017 while studying at Harper Adams University.

While Isabelle is a qualified rural chartered surveyor, Rhodri farms alongside his father Mark and brother Steffan, run a Sarahlou herd of Pedigree Limousins.

They told Farmers Weekly: “We always knew we wanted farming to be our theme for the big day, with everything from the tractor being present, pitchforks on leaving the church, farm-themed cake and cow breeds as the table names.

“The wedding was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better day celebrating with our closest family and friends… and the weather stayed dry!”
