Photo of the Week: Farmers Weekly collages help with rainy farm days

Rainy days on the farm have never been easier, says this week’s Photo of the Week contributor Bridget Slade of Fir Tree Farm in Norfolk, thanks to none other than the pages of Farmers Weekly.

Pictured is George, who has been cutting up the pages of Farmers Weekly to make collages – this is his biggest achievement to date.

Bridget says: “Collaging Farmers Weekly is a cheap and cheerful way to occupy children.

“It starts conversations about farms different to ours and has been a good use of a huge pile of used Farmers Weekly, which would otherwise have just been recycled.

“I highly recommend it to other mothers trying to occupy children during wet weather and dark evenings.”
