Photo of the Week: Belted Galloway pose in the snow

These hardy Belted Galloway from a farm in Northumberland, photographed by Evan Taylor in Northumberland, stay outside for the majority of the year, and they always love posing for a picture.

With the recent cold weather drying up the ground, Evan says it’s been a relief from all the rain. 

He told Farmers Weekly: “A challenge is getting out to see the livestock and make sure they are OK. “Although they can stand the weather, you can’t beat checking on them.”
