Farmers Weekly 2024 photo competition open for entries

Farmers Weekly‘s annual photography competition is open for entries, with £500 of cash prizes up for grabs for amateur snappers.

We want your photos of the countryside and farming through the seasons – images that celebrate all aspects of rural life through your lens.

There are eight categories across a range of farming and rural topics, and you can enter as many pictures as you like in any of these categories:

  • Black and white
  • Livestock
  • Landscapes
  • Machinery
  • People
  • Pets
  • Wildlife
  • Young photographer (open to anyone 16 or under on the closing date).

Winning photos will be printed inside the bumper Farmers Weekly Christmas edition on 20 December, and the overall winner and two runners-up – selected from the eight individual category winners – will receive £300 and £100 each in prize money.
