World’s top agricultural universities in 2018
Want to study agriculture at university but are confused about where you should be looking? Would-be ag students who dream of studying at one of the world’s top universities for the faculty need look no further than this – the top 10 places to go according to this independent list.
There’s good news this year for anyone not so keen on trotting off to another country to learn, as Reading University has jumped from 10th position in the 2017 rankings to claim sixth this year.
The annual list is based on measures of academic reputation, graduate employability and citations of published research. It is independently compiled by media, events and software company QS Quacquarelli Symonds.

World-renowned Dutch institute Wageningen University retains the top spot for the third year running. After Reading you’ll have to scroll a long way down the full list on the QS website to find the next best UK-based establishments in the University of Nottingham, Aberystwyth University and Bangor University.
