YFC members gather for Blackpool AGM

YFC members from across England and Wales are descending on the Lancashire town of Blackpool for their AGM and convention.

The three-day event, from 3-5 May, is the biggest event in the Young Farmer calendar – a great chance to mix business and pleasure, meet old friends and make new ones.

Among the many highlights of the weekend will be hotly contested performing arts, ballroom dancing and cheerleading competitions; the ARAC forum discussing the future of farming and the National Federation of YFC’s AGM.

On the social side, there’s a smart dress function on the evening of 3 May, followed by a Where’s Wally?-themed event the next night and the boilersuit/club shirt ball to conclude the Sunday.

As always, Farmers Weekly will be out and about among the 4,000-plus AGM-goers for the whole weekend, bringing you news, photos and video footage. Make sure you come and say hello if you see us.

We’re bringing all the highlights together on our YFC AGM 2013 webpage. It includes a designated picture gallery for each of the three days, plus full details of the competitions Farmers Weekly is running.

If you’re not in Blackpool, check it out to see if you can spot your friends – or have a look once you return to relive your favourite moments!
