TWB Engineering’s Magic Mole plough

Last year’s recordbreakingly-wet weather showed up the fact that many fields around the country are sorely in need of either re-draining or mole-ploughing, or both. And if you’re looking for a tough, well-made unit, TWB Engineering’s new Magic Mole plough will no doubt fit the bill.
It has a smooth, single-section skid unit, so there are no worries about mud working its way into the cavities often left on some machines where two skid sections are joined together. In fact, the skid unit (and much of the rest of the machine) is made from 20mm thick steel plate.
The single-leg Magic Mole requires 170-180hp, while the twin-leg version needs 200hp. Cost is roughly £6,500 for the one-leg version.
