NRH Engineering auto-reset subsoiler

Neil Hopwood at NRH Engineering, Seaton Ross, York makes a range of well-engineered cultivation equipment that sells to countries as diverse as New Zealand, Japan and Thailand as well as UK farmers.

He now offers a hydraulic auto-reset version of his 3, 5 and 7-leg subsoiler, which previously just had shearbolts to provide protection to the legs. The main customers are likely to be Scots and Irish farmers, who routinely have to cope with lumps of stone just under the soil surface that can wreak havoc on machinery.

The extra costs of the auto-reset on top of the usual ÂŁ12,439 price of a three-leg machine is ÂŁ2,040.
