Midlands Machinery Show set to return in November

The Midlands Machinery Show is returning to Newark Showground this year with a series of new product launches and technical seminars for the second year running.

Organised by the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society, the free-to-visit event aims to give a platform for small to medium-sized ag businesses to show their range of machinery and innovation to those who work and have an interest in agriculture.

It takes place on 25 and 26 November 2015 and is open to dealers and manufacturers to book their trade spaces both indoors and outdoors.

“In its first year, we had a tremendous amount of positive feedback from exhibitors,” says showground manager Jayne Olney, “and we pride ourselves on our ability to attract the big name brands in the agricultural industry while also maintaining a sense of intimacy.”

More than 5,000 people are expected to visit the show this year, which will host 150-160 stands over the two days.

A programme of technical seminars and awards for the best trade stands will also be taking place, including best agricultural stand, best overall stand and best non-machinery stand.

“After launching the show last year, it was clear that there is a need for an event of this size in the area,” says Ms Olney, “and the signs are that this is an event that will grow in popularity year on year.

“Around 80% of those that came to the show last year have rebooked.”
