Midlands Machinery Show: ArmaTrac returns with updated tractors

Turkish-made ArmaTrac tractors are being brought in by new Stoke-on-Trent-based UK importer ArmaTrac Sales UK, with upgraded models and a slimmed-down range.
There are just two models on offer at the moment, the 504e with 50hp and the 1104Lux with 113hp.
The 504e uses a Tier 3A Perkins or turbocharged engine with three cylinders and a 3.3-litre capacity.
Transmission is from Carraro and the gearbox offers 12 forward and 12 reverse gears with a shuttle and top speed of 30kph.
An independent pto offers 540 and 540E options and a mechanical linkage is standard.
Lift capacity is 2.2t and there’s an auto-lift system. Hydraulic power, meanwhile, comes in at  48.5 litres/minute.

The price tag is £16,000 and you also get an MP3 player as part of the cab equipment.
The bigger 1104 Lux model also has a 3.4-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged Perkins engine putting out 113hp.
Transmission has 16 forward and 16 reverse gears with full synchromesh.
An auto-hitch control system is fitted, as well as a compressor and trailer brake hook-up.
Fender-mounted external hydraulic lift and pto buttons are fitted. Air-conditioning is standard, as is a radio-CD player.
Cost of the tractor is £28,000. Distribution will come direct from the company’s UK base in Stoke for the first 18 months.
Service vans will operate over a 100-mile radius and the company is sorting out service arrangements for anything further afield.
The company is also planning a UK roadshow.
