Livestock 2012: Teat scrubber sanitises, dries and stimulates

A pre-milking handheld teat scrubber that washes, sanitises, dries and stimulates the teat could help reduce disease and cross-contamination.

The Teat Sanicleanse System from Northern Dairy Equipment uses a warm water brush which not only cleans the teat but also provides the necessary stimulation for milk letdown.

The brush flush system can also be used alongside the company’s Sanicleanse Sanitiser which uses unique triple action biocides which clean, foam and disinfectant the teat. The system costs start from around £3,800 and will on show at the Livestock 2012 event in September.
