VIDEO: Handley expects ‘flurry’ of milk price rises
Milk buyers are on the verge of announcing a series of milk price rises to farmers, believes dairy campaigner David Handley.
Farmers could look forward to two or three milk price announcements over the coming days, Mr Handley told Farmers Weekly.
Mr Handley was speaking after hundreds of farmers attended a dairy crisis meeting at Holsworthy, Devon, on Wednesday (24 April).
Farmers have warned that they will return to protests unless talks with processors and retailers deliver a better deal for producers.
