Deadline for Single Farm Payment forms 15 May

The Rural Payments Agency has reminded farmers that the deadline for single farm payment claims is midnight 15 May 2009.

The same deadline also applied in the devolved regions of the UK.

The RPA said after 15 May additional agricultural parcels (accompanied where appropriate by corresponding payment entitlements) may be added, and the use or aid scheme relating to already declared parcels may be changed without penalty until midnight on Monday 1 June.

Late applications will be accepted up to 9 June 2009, but will be subject to late claim penalties. Applications received after 9 June will be rejected.
