Northumberland and Wiltshire farms on market soon

Allens Green Farm in the heart of the South Tyne Valley has outstanding views over Northumberland National Park and will come to the market soon.

The holding is at Bardon Mill near Hexham and has 281 acres of permanent grass and rough grazing in a ring fence.

There is a large, traditional, stone farmhouse with an annexe, modern buildings and extensive, traditional, stone buildings with potential to convert these to additional accommodation or for diversification.

The land is split between almost 90 acres of permanent pasture, 179 acres of rough grazing and about 11 acres of woodland.

The farm’s Higher Level Stewardship Agreement is under a one-year extension until the end of 2023 and this can be transferred to the farm’s buyer.

Wiltshire mixed farm

Fosse Way Farm is a 179-acre mixed arable and stock farm at North Wraxhall in the Cotswold area of outstanding natural beauty in Wiltshire.

The holding is on well-drained soils and has a detached farmhouse with an agricultural occupancy condition.

It has a small set of both modern and traditional buildings.

The farm is due for launch this week and will be offered as a whole or in four lots with an overall guide price of £2.85m, through Carter Jonas.
