More farms and land to market in south-west England
A number of south-west farms and land blocks will launched shortly, offering mainly smaller holdings but at widely varying prices.
Limekiln Farm at Middle Lypiatt, near Stroud, comes to the market as its owners are relocating to a larger holding in Scotland.
It has 102 acres split into good-size fields of level, well-maintained grassland, with some small woodlands. Close to the house are several four-acre paddocks and the whole farm is stock fenced and has mains water connections.
“This is a very neat and tidy grassland farm with everything well maintained,” said Matthew Sudlow of selling agent Strutt & Parker.

The four-bedroom farmhouse has an agricultural tie and there is a four-bedroom, recently modernised traditional Cotswold cottage, modern farm buildings, stables, kennels, office and bathroom.
Limekiln Farm has far-reaching views and carries a guide price of £3m as a whole, but is available in up to two lots.
Strutt & Parker also has a similar sized fully equipped grassland farm coming to the market shortly in Dorset.
Copplesbury Farm at North Brewham, near Bruton in Somerset, also comes to the market this week with Carter Jonas.
This is a dairy retirement sale, with the farm available as a whole or in four lots.
There is a five-bedroom period house, modern and traditional buildings and up to 119 acres of land.
The overall guide price is £2.75m, with the principal lot including the house, buildings and about 45 acres at £2m.
Bare land parcels of 13.6 acres to 44 acres form the remaining lots.
A contrasting small farm on the Dorset/Devon/Somerset border is also about to be launched by Carter Jonas.
Billed as a lifestyle smallholding/equestrian property, Yonder Farm at Thorncombe sits between Lyme Regis to the south and Chard to the north.
It is in a very private location on the edge of the Marshwood Vale and in the West Dorset area of outstanding natural beauty.
The farm has 19.5 acres in two fields and a modern and solid but dated three-bedroom farmhouse. There is a small range of modern but redundant farm buildings.
The land surrounds the farmhouse and is a mix of pasture ley and gently sloping permanent pasture enclosure. Yonder Farm has a guide price of £850,000.
Historic Somerset estate
The sale of the historic Sharpham Park Estate, near Glastonbury, Somerset, will cause a splash in the country house market when it launches in early June.
This has large manor house and has been the home of Mulberry brand founder Roger Saul for the past 20 years.
As well as the extensive manor house, there are ranges of traditional and modern buildings, about 270 acres of land and a walnut orchard. The overall guide price is in the region of £8m.
However, the organic arable land is available separately, as is the established organic spelt business with its own mill.
The mill, warehouse, office, farm buildings, solar plant and yards are lotted with almost 25 acres, which carry a productive organic walnut orchard with 250 trees, a mixed fruit orchard and carp pond.
With potential for development, this lot is guided at £1.95m.
There are two further bare land lots. The first is almost 65 acres of organic arable land with a guide price of £750,000.
This has been farmed to a high standard in an organic rotation for 20 years, producing spelt, naked oats and clover leys.
A second block of organic land offers almost 135 acres, suitable for a wide range of arable or livestock enterprises and with a guide price of £1.35m.
