Autumn GB market continues with farms, estates and forestry
The autumn land market in Great Britain remains busy this year, as vendors take advantage of strong demand.
There is an opportunity for every type of buyer, from fully equipped farms to bare land, large estates, diversified properties and commercial woodland.

Scottish farm
Woodside Farm, near New Abbey in Dumfries and Galloway, is on the market with Galbraith, available as a whole or in three lots.
Lot 1 includes a three-bedroom house, farm steading and 23 acres of pasture land, for offers above £550,000.
Lot 2 (38 acres) is available for offers in excess of £225,000 and Lot 3 (6 acres) for £50,000.
Welsh unit
Near Welshpool in Powys, Strutt & Parker is selling Fach-Hir with a guide price of £2.25m.
The livestock farm includes about 130 acres of productive land, a five-bedroom house and a range of traditional and modern buildings.
Livestock holding
Carter Jonas is selling 213-acre Worden Farm near Holsworthy in Devon for £2.925m.
Available as a whole or in three lots, the former dairy farm comes with a house, covered yards, livestock sheds, 280 cubicles, a 600,000-bird laying unit, five poultry sheds and 100kW of ground-mounted solar.
Wine opportunity
Chilford Hall Vineyard and Winery in Linton, Cambridgeshire, one of England’s oldest established commercial vineyards, is on the market with Cheffins.
The £2m sale includes a 22-acre vineyard, winery, wine-making equipment, winery buildings, and about 45,000 bottles of wine produced on the estate.
Historical estate
The Adlington Hall Estate in Cheshire is believed to be on the market for the first time in 700 years, through Savills and Mark Wiggin Estate Agency.
It has six equipped let farms, 21 residential properties, and 1,922 acres of pasture, arable and woodland.
The estate is guided at £30m for the whole and is also available in 25 lots.
Woodland income
Near Barmouth on the Afon Mawddach estuary in Gwynedd, Tustins is selling Cae Gwian Forestry Estate.
It covers 474 acres of commercial species and is available for offers above £3.75m.
