Essay writers could win place at 2011 British Cattle Conference

DairyCo have teamed up with the British Cattle Breeders’ Club to give the next generation of dairy producers the chance to attend the 2011 British Cattle Conference.

Agricultural students are asked to submit an essay of up to 2500 words on the subject of: What solution will animal breeding need to offer to ensure a sustainable future for the next generation of dairy producers?.

The winning student will not only get the chance to attend the conference, but also the opportunity to present to the delegates at the conference on their findings and conclusions.

The competition is open to all students studying towards an agricultural qualification. The closing date for entries is Friday 17 December 2010. More information can be found on the DairyCo website.

A mirror competition is being supported by EBLEX for essays focusing on the beef sector.
