On Friday 31 January, the UK left the EU and embarked on a transitional period which ends on 31 December 2020.
We have the greatest advantage: to sweep away the EU’s bureaucratic Common Agricultural Policy and move towards a fairer system which rewards our hard-working farmers.
The Government has pledged to provide the same cash total in funds for farm support until the end of this Parliament.
This applies to all farm support and covers the whole country.
