The gently undulating land is all down to arable, cropped with oilseed rape and interspersed with small pockets of woodland.
Field sizes are decent on a mixture of Grade 2 and 3 land which is freely draining shallow lime-rich soil over chalk or limestone. About 80% of the total of 673 aces is Grade 2.
