Two cows have been rescued after falling into a slurry pit on a farm in Cornwall.

Emergency services were called to the farm in Burlawn, near Wadebridge, at 7.35am on Saturday 11 February.

They used specialist equipment, including inflatable rescue paths, and the farmer’s telehandler to safely remove the cows from the 4m-deep pit.
