A fire crew were called to an unusual rescue after a bullock fell into a slurry pit.

A fire crew from nearby Richmond rescued the bullock using straps attached to the front-end loader on the farmer’s tractor.

After rescuing the animal, the crew washed it down using a hose and posed for a photograph which they posted on Twitter with the hashtag #NotJustFires.
