Dafydd is a member of the Machynlleth Male Voice Choir and he had been due to take part in a concert in Dinas Mawddwy, Gwynedd, on Saturday 18 February. But the event was cancelled as a mark of respect.
Fellow choir member Aled Griffiths, who is also an agent and group secretary at NFU Cymru, told the BBC: “This is an extremely sad situation, and the whole area is in shock.”
A police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at a farm in the Aberhosan area of Machynlleth on Friday evening, 17 February.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) confirmed it is investigating the fatal accident.
