Airbags used to free man trapped under tractor
© Medicimage/UIG/REX Firefighters have rescued a man whose lower leg became trapped underneath a tractor on a farm.
Three fire crews from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service used airbags to lift the tractor before the man could be freed.
The 77-year-old suffered a leg injury following the incident at Leebotwood, near Church Stretton, just after 7pm on Sunday (3 May).

Fire crews, including a rescue tender, were despatched from Church Stretton and Wellington.
The man was released about 7.45pm on Sunday and taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. He is expected to make a full recovery.
A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed on Sunday: “A 77-year-old-man who had become trapped below the knee by a tractor, has been released and is now in the care of ambulance personnel.”
