The Forager – soaring above the Favelas

It’s a hard life being the mascot of a poultry magazine. Gunter, otherwise known as the Feathered Forager, has had some pretty exciting exploits over the years: Staying in the Swiss Alps; sipping whiskey in Scotland and even a visit to the London Olympics last year, to name a few.

But his latest adventure is the most exotic yet. He travelled to survey the Brazilian poultry industry for a week, and while there had a little excursion up Cristo Redentor,  in Rio de Janeiro.

He reports that it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but wonders if readers would spend 17 hours in a suitcase amidst a reporter’s dirty clothing to get there and back?
