First Challenger Stealth off the line is UK-bound

Challenger’s 438hp flagship MT775E “Stealth” tracked tractor, first seen at Agritechnica 2013, is now in production in Jackson, Minnesota, USA, says the company. Painted in military-looking matt black livery, the 28 limited-edition models are intended to celebrate 28 years of rubber tracks.

“We picked the name ‘Stealth’ because it has many associations with the new MT700E Challenger tracked tractor,” says Luca Cattani, product marketing manager at Challenger EAME. The ground does not feel or see it as it moves quietly, economically and smoothly and leaves virtually no footprint.”

The first batch will be arriving in Europe in late June, ready for post-harvest work, and the first one (a wide-track version) is headed for the UK. Operator comforts on the MT775E Stealth are said to include good visibility and ride comfort and Nightbreaker HID lights are now fitted as standard. The remote radio control is accessible via the steering wheel.
