Vion meat processing buyout timeline

After a period of financial uncertainty and losses, Vion has found a buyer for its meat and poultry processing businesses.

2 Sisters Food Group has bought 11 red meat and poultry processing sites covering England, Wales and Scotland and Vion’s UK poultry production units and feed mills.

The pork units have been sold to new company, Karro Food Group and the Welsh Country Foods lamb processing buisiness could be saved by a management buyout.
