Schuitemaker boosts tyre sizes on forage wagons

With machines getting heavier and weather patterns around the world getting more unpredictable, machinery makers are looking increasingly to fit bigger tyres on their kit.

Dutch forage wagon maker Schuitemaker, which has been selling its Rapide forage wagons for some 30 years, says it is now fitting 30.5 tyres on its latest 39cu m Rapide 6600-30.5 model.

This gives better performances in wet and muddy conditions, particularly when harvesting maize, but also on grassland.

This Rapide 6600-30.5 can be delivered with or without beaters and comes with hydraulic suspended axle, electric/hydraulic steering and an integrated hydraulic front board. This model is also kitted out for central tyre pressure regulation systems.
