Have your say in the digital grain passport consultation
A full consultation on the introduction of the Digital Grain Passport system is under way, allowing farmers to have their say ahead of the ultimate decision whether to proceed with the system in early November.
As part of the consultation, the AHDB is running a series of webinars this month to demonstrate the prototype system and provide an opportunity to give feedback.
The webinars are open to growers, storekeepers, merchants, processors, hauliers and anyone else involved in grain logistics.

What is the Digital Grain Passport?
The digital option will replace the existing paper passport, providing a two-way data flow for all combinable crop supply chains across the UK.
In a first for the industry, it will provide a universal system of returning weight and quality data back to growers.
As the passport will be accessed by many people in numerous businesses, it is essential the system works for everyone, which is why the AHDB is encouraging all those involved within the grain logistics industry and wider supply chain to have their say.
