Cereals 2008: Updated version of fertiliser recommendation software PLANET coming
A full new version of the fertiliser recommendation software, Planet, would be made available once RB209 had been updated, Selwyn Richardson (pictured), a soil scientist from ADAS said.
“In the meantime we will be releasing a mini-version when the new NVZ rules are announced.”
The update would include a calculator to help growers comply with the new rules, he said.
The program’s usability would also be improved, he added. “The obvious change is the ability to split fields much more easily than at present.”
