CHANGES TO label recommendations for CIPC, allowing earlier ventilation of potato stores after application, should improve fry colours in processing potatoes.


Growers now have the option to use formulations from Luxan or Whyte Agrochemicals with earlier ventilation recommendations following extensive BPC research, notes the British Potato Council’s Adrian Briddon.
