2015 Big Farmland Bird Count results

Farmers rallied round the country to take part in the second Big Farmland Bird Count this winter.
More than 950 farmers across the UK spent half an hour recording the different types of birds on their land during the week-long count, from 7 – 15 February.

Organisers the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust said they were “delighted” with the results, but warned more farm conservation work was needed to turn around “serious declines” in some farmland bird species.
