Better visibility promised with new Claas FL front loaders

A clutch of new-generation loaders are now available for the Claas Axos and Arion tractor series.

The six models, from the FL 40 C to the FL 140, offer lift capacities that range from 940kg to 2,490kg and maximum heights of between 3.5m and 4.5m.

Highlights include a new three-section design with a double-angled boom, which has allowed the designers to drop the pivot point by 20cm.

This, combined with a 10cm lower front crossbeam, is said to have significantly improved operator visibility over the frame and attachment.

All the hoses are routed through the metalwork to protect them from scuffs, there’s a multi-coupling system that pairs all hydraulic and electrical lines in one go, and automatic mechanical attachment locking is standard.

This can be upgraded to the optional hydraulic Fastlock setup, and buyers can also spec an “automatic bucket return” function and LED lights.

Prices for FLE versions range from £3,130 to £3,810, FLCs are £4,660 to £6,750, and the FLs are £6,430 to £10,480.
