Agritechnica 2023: Mazzotti self-propelled sprayers get John Deere livery

Work to bring Italian-built Mazzotti sprayers into the John Deere fold has reached its conclusion, with the green giant finally committing to paint them in its own colours.

The result is the new 300-series which, although largely the same as the yellow machines that went before, contains a few crucial updates.

These address teething problems experienced by early adopters, many of which were electrical.

To this end, there’s now a G5 display in the cab, which offers full integration into Deere’s guidance and precision agriculture software.

Two models are on offer, starting with the 332M, which has a 175hp four-cylinder engine, 3,200-litre tank and booms from 24m to 28m.

Stepping up to the pictured 340M brings in a 225hp six-cylinder block, a 4,000-litre tank and the option of pushing boom width up to 36m.
