Gehl launches new skidsteers

Gehl’s latest R Series skidsteer loaders include the R190, the R220 and the R260. They have Yanmar engines and can be fitted with counterweights to increase rated operating capacity from 957kg on the R190 to 1,261kg on the R260.

Max lift heights are 3.06m on the R190 and 3.12m on the R220 and R260. Hydraulic specs are said to be high, with auxiliary hydraulics generating flow-rates of 119 litres/min on the R190 and 132.5 litres/min on the R220 and R260.

Cabs come with a new side-folding restraint bar and armrests with multiple adjustments to boost operator comfort and safety. Joystick and hand/foot controls are fully adjustable and the mechanical or air-ride suspension seat options are said to deliver good comfort.

The cab-forward design and lowered rear towers give good visibility to the bucket edge and rear of the machine. There are also three control options: T-bar, joystick, and hand/foot.

Auxiliary hydraulic controls are located on the joystick for easy access and a customisable digital display provides information on coolant, fuel, battery and engine regeneration information. Pressure-relieving hydraulic couplers are designed to make attachment changes quick and safe.
