8 photos of the best themed caravans from the Royal Welsh Show
Many colourful looking caravans have been spied making their way to this year’s Royal Welsh Show, in Builth.
With the prize of a free stay in the Young People’s Village next year on offer for the best looking pitch, many partygoers have putting their paintbrushes to good use.
We went to the site to catch a glimpse of the best caravans on display.

This John Deere forager, from Llanllwni YFC members (pictured right to left) Hefin Jones, 19, Dan Jones, 21, and Sion Evans, 24, made quite a stir on its journey to the showground from Carmarthenshire.
It took nearly two months to complete and they used roadside sweepers to make the header and made the shoot from wood.
The boys actually made it after seeing a caravan that was made to look like a McHale baler wrapper at the show last year.
By pure coincidence the lads ended up parked next to their rivals this year.
It is this McHale caravan’s third year at the show. It was the brainchild of Carmarthenshire farmers Richard Bridgehouse, 23, Oliver Jenkins, 24, Carwyn Richards, 22, and brothers Sam and Tony Dufty, aged 23 and 24.
This tiger themed caravan belongs to Zoe Whittall, 20, (pictured front) and her fellow “team tigers” Lydia Dray, 20, Bethan Anthony, 20, and Ruth Smith, 19, from Eardisley YFC, Herefordshire.
“We were going to paint it pink but Bethan thought it was too girly,” explains Zoe.
Instead the girls went for a “sassy” tiger-print theme that took three hours to complete. They even brought along a mascot, Terry the Tiger, to enjoy the fun.
Crucorney YFC members Dave Webb, 25, (pictured front) Matt Turner, 27, Oliver Turner, 19, and Louis Cull, 23, (back, left to right) are staying in a cow-print caravan, which was actually painted to make it look more presentable.
Fellow Crucorney YFC members Alice Tyler, Emily Ball and Emma Davies, took it upon themselves to paint it, carefully positioning the black patches to cover up all the dents and scratches.
Llanfyllin YFC members Amelia Roberts, 16, Ella Roberts, 16 and Beth Jones, also 16, designed a pink abode fit for a princess (on a budget).
On the inside they have even made polka-dot curtains to adorn the windows, put up flowery wallpaper to brighten up the drab-looking wardrobes and hung butterfly lights above the bed.
Cousins Hannah and Matthew Jones, aged 18 and from Llanidloes, went “wild” decorating their travel home.
“We thought it would be fun,” said Hannah, who added that it took two days to complete the jungle-themed masterpiece.
Will Nixon took inspiration from the Dukes of Hazard 69 Dodge Charger when designing this artwork.
Unfortunately Will was out when we called in.
Art student Lois Cornish, 17, designed this leopard-print wonder and enlisted her friends Emma Lewis, 18, Katie Watkin, 18, Catrin Watkins, 18 and Caryl Lewis, 17, all from Llanfair YFC, Powys, to help her paint it.
