Map: What dairy producers around the world are paid

This year has been a tumultuous one for milk prices at home and across the globe as the worst dairy crisis for 30 years hit its peak in the summer before prices started to return to sustainable levels.

UK farmgate milk prices stand just below where they were 12 months ago at 24.17p/litre for October, according to the latest AHDB figures.

The increase represents a 22.2% increase on the lows of June, driven by rising commodity prices as well as production falling 6.7% on the year.
