AgreenaCarbon is Europe’s leading soil carbon programme. It supports more than 1,000 farmers’ regenerative transition over two million hectares of farmland in 18 countries, ensuring integrity outcomes for farmers, food production and climate.

As BPS payments come to an end, farmers can replace lost income with carbon payments.

Use your recently submitted BPS application to receive:

  1. A free carbon valuation

The Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) has been a vital source of income for UK farmers. Now, with BPS coming to an end, farmers face a period of uncertainty.

However, with the emergence of carbon certification programmes such as Agreena, farmers have a powerful tool at their disposal.

Agreena, a carbon certification programme, offers farmers an additional income stream through carbon payments.

As BPS phases out, farmers can replace some of the difference with Agreena carbon payments.

Step one: Upload your BPS application for a free carbon valuation

Your recently submitted BPS application can get you a free carbon valuation with Agreena.

By leveraging the information collected in the BPS application, such as field sizes and locations, Agreena can quickly estimate the amount of certificates you could earn each year.

Upload your BPS Application and receive a carbon valuation.

Step two: Use your BPS application to fast track onboarding

Data entry just got a whole lot easier.

Once you have received your carbon valuation, Agreena can use your BPS application to fast track your onboarding process to the programme.

In the past, farmers have been hesitant to join carbon programmes because of the lengthy task of uploading farm data.

But if you’ve submitted your BPS application, the hard work is done.
