Double dairy opportunity in Scottish farmland market
Two large Scottish dairy farms have been launched by H&H.
Round Bush Farm, near Annan, Dumfrieshire, is a working dairy enterprise with 306 acres of arable and grassland.
Selling agent Matthew Bell said opportunities to buy such a farm in a renowned dairy area were rare.
The majority of the land is suited to arable or grass, but some has previously been put to root crops. Milking is carried out with a DeLaval 16/16 herringbone system, which includes in-parlour feeders.
The yard has general storage buildings, loose housing and cubicle sheds as well as a traditional farmhouse.
The farm is available at a guide price of £1.7m with BPS entitlements.
With 475 acres in a single block, Guiltreehill Farm at Maybole, Ayrshire, includes loose housing, a cubicle shed, machinery store, general-purpose buildings and a former parlour and tank room.
A house and a cottage requiring renovation are included, as are BPS entitlements in the guide price of £2.8m for the whole, or in four lots. (H&H 01228 406 260)
