Beulah ram sells for record price of 10,650gns

A ram sold to a record price of 10,650gns at the Eppynt Hill and Beulah Speckled Face Rams, held at Builth Wells, this week (24 September).

Record breaker was the first prize and overall champion, a yearling ram from Messrs DE and G Davies and Son, Llwynpoid, Garth. Buyer was Messrs T Davies and Co, Llwyncadwgan, Beulah.

In the aged ram category, first prize was awarded to a three-year old ram, shown by Messrs MJ and JM Price, Pencrug, Llanafan, which later sold for 2,500gns to the society president, Mr EB Jones, Blaenblodau,  Pencader, Carmarthenshire.
