This conveyer might look more at home on a piece of veg-harvesting equipment, but it means Richard Western’s range of GR chaser bins will now work controlled traffic farming systems.

The hydraulically driven rubber conveyer sits in the middle on the chaser bin and extends up to meet the combine spout. That means the combine can drive in one set of tramlines while the chaser trundles along another.

There’s also a central auger to level out the load and a deflector plate to stop material launching over the far side of the hopper.

The system is powered by the tractor hydraulics and can be retrofitted to any of Richard Western’s GR chaser bins. The price is £22,000.

A 24t GR24 chaser bin costs £56,818.
