The shareholders of Inverness ATV maker Ecorider have put the company into liquidation.

The company was best known for its two-wheeled ATV called the Ecorider and more recently the Ecoquad diesel ATV. It also won a Royal Highland Show innovation award in 2008.

Rising development costs and manufacturing problems were blamed for the company’s demise and a creditors’ meeting is taking place this Friday (17 July)
